11.5 You may not publish any content to our website depicting people under 18 years of age regardless of their consent or state of dress. If said content contains nudity, it will be enforced in accordance with section 11.2 as child pornography even if it was nonsexual in accordance with United States law.
Reasoning For This Rule

U.S. law is very slippery regarding children and nudity:

  • Generally speaking, any media, sexual or not, containing children partially or fully nude is classified under U.S. law as child pornography.
  • U.S. laws on indecent exposure approach felony territory when anyone appears nude or partially nude in the presence of a child.
  • U.S. laws on child privacy are very strict.

As such, as a nudist website, we cannot tolerate any media depicting children. Doing so would open up a huge legal risk for the site for which we do not want to be responsible.

Uploading any media depicting children is grounds for a permanent ban. And, if any children are depicted nude or partially nude, we are required under the law to report it to authorities for child pornography. Or, if any adults were depicted as exposing themselves to children, we are required under the law to report it for indecent exposure in the presence of a minor.
