11.4 You may not publish any multimedia to Midwest Nudists containing people regardless of who they are or their state of dress if you have not completed the verification process as explained in Section 10.
11.5 You may not publish any content to our website depicting people under 18 years of age regardless of their consent or state of dress. If said content contains nudity, it will be enforced in accordance with section 11.2 as child pornography even if it was nonsexual in accordance with United States law.
10.1 For the safety and integrity of the community, we require those who wish to upload any multimedia, files, or attachments to go through a verification process. The verification process is optional and is handled entirely by Midwest Nudists to ensure the utmost privacy; we do not use any third party identification services.
10.2

The verification process involves taking a picture with the following:

  • your face clearly visible,
  • your valid and active government issued ID visible (which has your photo, date of birth, issue date, expiration date, and any security features visible and legible; all other information may be censored), and
  • a piece of paper visible where you hand-wrote your Midwest Nudists username and a random code given to you on the verification form.

All elements must be in the same single photo. The photo must be unmodified except to optionally censor unnecessary information on the government issued ID.
10.3 Those who are not verified will see a nag message at the top of every page. The message will contain a link you must click if you wish to get verified.
10.4 You must follow the instructions as indicated on the verification form, and submit the verification form as instructed, to be verified. A staff member will manually review your request and either approve your verification if it satisfies all requirements, or reject it if it does not.
10.5 You will be contacted by a staff member if your verification request was rejected and the reason for its rejection. You may submit a new verification request unless otherwise told.
10.6 After your verification request is approved, it will remain valid until your government issued ID expires. After that date, you will lose the privilege to upload media, files, and attachments. You will be required to submit a new verification request with your updated government issued ID after that date to re-gain the privilege to upload media and files.
10.7 You may request to have their verification status revoked at any time through the contact methods listed in Section 23 or by deleting your verification record. You will immediately lose the privilege of uploading files, media, and attachments upon revocation.
10.8 No one under these Terms and Conditions, including staff and administrators, are exempt from the requirement to verify to upload files, media, or attachments.
10.9 Staff, or those with the ability to review and approve verification requests, may not review / verify their own verification requests. Another person with the privilege must do so.
10.10 We do not warrant those who complete the verification process are law-abiding citizens who have the best interests of the nudist or Midwest Nudists community. The verification process serves only to ensure those who submit nudist media are 18 years of age or over and are not submitting media which contain other people (unless written consent was otherwise given by all individuals in the photo and Midwest Nudists). If someone does not have the best interests of the community, they should be reported promptly.
Reasoning For This Rule
  • We have this rule / process to protect those in the nudist community from having their face / identity shared online without their consent.
  • We also have this rule / process to ensure we do not run into legal implications arising from minors uploading nudist media of themselves or anyone uploading nudist media of minors.
  • The effort required to verify one's self before they can publish media should also help deter some bad actors from uploading inappropriate media.
